I am second owner; purchased in 1975; With just under 100K; car now has approx. 225;000.   All original except for volvo replacement parts and new 165xsr15 michelin xzx tires. Runs marvelous; needs paint; Car was last painted after I bought car (a 2007-8 project finally coming up to the plate).  SU's professionally rebuilt and motor rebuilt in 2006.  Line bored and bored .30 over, new cam, all else renewed, new exhaust.  Car drives extremely well. A/C needs a recharge- doing in late March. Was converted last year to newer coolant, but discharged when I rebuilt the motor. Seats need repair and I acquired a set from a 1970 (debating on putting in a 1967 but much sturdier).  Newer dash will be installed and car repainted hopefully in 2007-8.  Carpet faded but original.  Interior very decent;  rear luggage straps broken.  Original VOLVO TIRE CHAINS came with car- in original Volvo bags; and I have original volvo factory manuals for all of the cars systems.  Car has been good to me and can't bear to give it up.  Eventually my daughter will probably get it.   Happy Motoring!

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
