Vienna  Austria
I bought mine in 1996 in rather good original condition. It is pearl white with black interior. It was an Austrian car with its second owner white with black interior. It was an Austrian car with its second owner for nearly 15 years. Step by step I renovated everything. First the engine with broken piston rings and therefore worn bores. I bored it out to 2 litres; with  B 20 head; compression ratio 8.7 : 1 for smooth overdrive (syncro; bearings etc.). I replaced some links and bushes of the front axle and went back to original wheels for lighter steering. New discs for the front brakes; new linings and break cylinders (1") back. Repair of clutch cylinders (main and down). I had to weld four small holes in the bottom. The rest was rust free. Inside its in perfect original condition. I only replaced leather of front seats. All instruments are working perfectly. I replaced the clockwork by the newer type from VDO; which is used in E and ES types. Look is original. Last autumn I fitted a Becker Europe radio which looks every day . It’s very reliable und a pleasure to drive. Especially with small tyres; large and heavy original steering wheel and the low small tyres; large and heavy original steering wheel and the low compression engine.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
