I got it a few years ago; and have done a number of things to it.  The body was in pretty rough shape; and I did all the body work short of body was in pretty rough shape; and I did all the body work short of final coat of paint.  Original color was blah Volvo red.  I painted it with an Oldsmobile color that is reddish maroon with clear coat top coat.  It gets lots of compliments.  The electrical system needed quite light switch isn't working; the light works when I manually complete the circuit.  Interior has been fixed up so is now more than presentable; but not of concourse standards.  Some time back a B 20B engine was installed; and I have put in new electronic  breakerless ignition.  Have put in new high output coil. Have modified the brake system to upgrade to the better vacuum booster pump.  Brakes work perfectly now.  Recently replaced the rear end with a better used one so that now there is no growling and howling when drive is in workable condition.  Drive the car most of the time with tranny in OD and don't even use the switch.   Motor Wheel Company  of tranny in OD and don't even use the switch.   Motor Wheel Company  of Lansing MI is the source of the Spider Mag wheels.  The local sports enthusiasts around here pay more attention to the wheels than   anything else.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
